This Penthouse is in the historic Town House Apartment Building which is named to the National Register of Historic Places for it’s historic importance as one of the first luxury urban-style apartment structures in Springfield, Illinois.

The common areas of the building feature lavish use of marble, original foyers of Marbelite vinyl floors, Bakelite house phones, and private terraced gardens. The living units boast 9-foot ceilings, and 5-foot wide party walls between apartments for soundproofing.

Our renovation of the magnificent Penthouse restored many of the original unique 1950’s luxury features as well as recapturing the palette and essence of the time through period furnishings, artwork, textiles, and details.
